Patrick Murphy
A former western state legislator and Presidential appointee, Patrick is a national leader on implementing innovative solutions for corporate and public sector clients. By creating strategic plans for outreach, we are able to create interest and legislative support for their business needs in Washington and in state capitals.
He was elected to the Nevada State Legislature as the youngest person in state history, where he authored the Nevada Open Meeting Law and chaired the Government Affairs Committee. Patrick served on the Nevada State Board of Education and on the Nevada State Crime Commission where he introduced the first 911 emergency number for statewide use by Nevada law enforcement.
Moving on to Washington, DC he was appointed by President Carter to serve at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and later directed state government relations at the US Synthetic Fuels Corporation and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation. Patrick was named as the President of the Government Relations Group of the national public finance firm Kutak Rock, representing numerous Wall Street and corporate clients.
He created 3Click Solutions and continued to develop successful advocacy strategies for a wide variety of corporations, labor unions, healthcare, technology and energy firms. In addition to his government relations, Patrick served on the presidential transition as a team leader within the US Treasury Department and was Senior Staff of the Clinton Economic Summit. He was appointed by President Clinton as a Member-At-Large of the Democratic National Committee as the DNC Vice Chair for statewide officers.
Patrick remains a central figure in candidate recruitment and mentoring of political leaders at the state and federal levels through his service on the Board of Directors of the New Leaders Council and as a trustee of the Women’s Campaign Forum, the American Council of Young Political Leaders, the Democratic Governors’ Association, and the Congressional Awards Foundation.
